caffeination

A world where coffee is more than a drink, it is life itself. The cartography captured in this piece, came to be from using the byproduct of coffee grounds after they are used to make the many coffees that are served to the citizens of Rhode Island on their daily routine.
Caffeination is full of easter eggs, from the names of Mountains and hills to the names of oceans and forest. The Cities are named after 76 family-owned cafes in Rhode Island. This piece is dedicated to those cafes, and the importance of how they shape our small state, on scale larger than anyone could imagine.
